Too Late, Buttons!
I am kicking myself. I have been fretting over what to do for the baby shower favors and last Wednesday said enough is enough- onesie cookies it is. Now... when it is too late to order the necessary materials, I come across the cutest idea on With This Ring... button candies!
Of course, it is way to late to order the button candy mold and as I am fretting and doing random searches to see if it is carried anywhere in Chicago I see that these cute little buttons have been around the blog-o-sphere. Cursing the work that is keeping me from being up to speed on the cuteness that is out there! And cursing that I don't have one more week as this would be just right for this shower!
Anyone know if said button candy mold is actually carried at a store in Chicago? I would love you forever if you shared such news with me!
This is reminding me of wedding planning - too many times the case was as soon as I would make a decision and it would be too late to change I would land on what I had been searching for... my timing is apparantly cursed.

The Bake It Pretty blog (link on my blog) are the ones who I first saw the buttons at. They sell the molds, candies, etc. When they got the product in they featured it on their blog. I've always wanted to make them!
If I would have read your post more thoroughly I would have seen that you actually did link BIP, whoops! Hope you can find it somewhere, they are just so darn adorable!

There has got to be someone in Chicago that sells the button molds!! I am way too familiar with the too little too late finds.
