The Third Year

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our third wedding anniversary.  I think that this year was the best one yet.

Since I am the designated family photographer in our house there tends to be less pictures that include the both of us.  Last August I decided to try a little project of taking a monthly photo of us.  I had a vision of cute, stylized photo sessions throughout the city... and reality was that more than a few months I had us setting up the tripod the very last day of the month.  The photo for January was taken at 10:30pm on January 31st!

But I think the collection is fairly reflective of our year and in the end that is what makes the photos valuable to us.  This is a project that I hope we keep up for many years.

What a wonderful idea! Especially now with kids, I have no recent pictures of me and my husband. Very few with me in them at all! I need to remedy that. Happy Anniversary!

Love the monthly photo idea! It's not often that I see the two of you together in front of the camera, and all of the shots are so sweet. Cheers to three years and many more to come!
Thanks ladies!

Emily, I had noticed that the only time we were both in front of the camera was on vacation or holidays - that was part of the driver to get more from the everyday... even if they are goofy self-timer type of shots!
