Lust for a Grown-up Kitchen

I have been trying to avoid doing the "I saw this on this blog...etc" posts but am breaking my rule today.  I was in the midst of a super quick break when this kitchen on MadeByGirl stopped me in my tracks (er scrolling really)... I am completely in love with it.  From the hint of green in the tiles to the window-esque (not the real term but I am not a homeowner so these labels escape me from time to time) cabinets, to the flooring.  It is pretty much exactly what I would pick out if I were to get a grown-up kitchen...

Don't you just want to move right in? 

Flower Filled Kitchen

Thank you everyone for your thoughts on incorporating kitchen posts!  I am going to start doing a few posts here and there on various recipes and things related to the kitchen...

The flowers in this shot just completely catch my eye and draw me in.  I am not sure if it is because I can be totally obsessed with pretty flowers or if it is the way they look so pretty against the white kitchen that doesn't compete for your attention.

White kitchens used to do nothing for me.  But lately the crispness of white cabinets and white marble counters is completely winning me over.  And it is a fantastic background for things like bright, pretty flowers or green milk glass cake stands... 

If I had this gorgeous kitchen I would have the loveliest of food shots for my upcoming food related posts.  I think I may be most jealous of the light they are getting... though I am not sold on the lattice detailing.
