It's already Friday?  The big huge bolded and underlined todo list item for me is to Relax.  Well, that and catch up on blogging, photo editing, and finish the next step in our refinishing a side table project.

Did this week fly by for anyone else?  Please say it wasn't just me that was struggling to keep the to do list at bay! But there are so many signs of spring bringing such an awesome energy that it is uplifting.  So anyways!  Here are a few fun things that grabbed my attention this week...

• For the photo-taking enthusiasts, this Picture Spring workshop looks like fun... anyone else thinking about signing up? Finding focus on spring sounds perfect to me.
• For you Chicago ladies, the Hula Palooza looks like an excellent way to spend a spring evening and support the Young Women's Leadership Council. We are planning to go so say hello if you see me!
• If you missed it, Gilt is having a huge weekend of sales focused on weddings.  There were a few dresses on there today that me wishing that I was still planning my wedding! Need an invite?  Here you go!
• ZenHabits has an article that really speaks to those of us that tend to overprogram our schedules and how we need to value rest... an excellent read.
• Ami, whom you may know from Elizabeth Anne Designs, has been sharing some fantastic information over on Edit & Post such as this insightful article on First Impressions...
• There is a fun visual on naturally cleaning copper over on Pancakes & French Fries...
• The super-cute Lindsy has been sharing her Daily Goods over at Yellow Brick Blog... I have tried a few of the products she has posted about in the past and they have always been fantastic finds.

If I were in a money spending mood these boots would so be mine.  They would be quite perfect for a Saturday afternoon date...

I am trying to decide if I want to spend my first non-planned weekend getting the rest of our stuff out of storage and into our new apartment (it has been done soon rather than later) or going on a little day date to see the Inspiring Dreams! Promoting the Burnham Plan exhibit at the library... hmm.  And I am trying to decide if I want to do a spending hiatus this year...

Ummm... where did this week go?  I had all kinds of plans for blogging and personal projects.  And didn't have nearly enough hours this week.  So I am sitting my little bum down this weekend and not getting up until I catch up. What are your plans for the weekend? Something fun I hope!

I will be working on my overdue status update for my list to 31 and starting my list for 32... and doing a little work on one of the items on the new list which I actually hope to have ready to open next week.

The word that keeps popping into my mind for Mad Men is yummy.  The show is fantastic and delicious.  We powered through two seasons in a week and a half and I am so very excited for the season 3 premiere this weekend. 

Movie in the park Saturday night, Brunch club Sunday morning, and new Mad Men Sunday night... it is looking like a wonderful weekend is in store!

 It is Friday!!!  Lately projects at work have been very consuming and left me a bit weary and uninspired (the testing phase of a project is always the least fun in my opinion).  I am sure I will have work to do this weekend- but I am looking foward to seeing if I can finish off my running training for this week strong for the 8 mile run on Saturday, grilling for father's day, going to the Green City market, and hopefully finding some inspiration for blogging along with a little relaxing.

I am off for my long weekend!  I would love to say it will be relaxing but it is going to be jam packed with family events and gatherings... I would also love to say that I will be back to regular posting next week... But I may need a week to recover! 

I hope you are all having a lovely time welcoming in the summer season!  Maybe with a little outdoor dining at a pretty table...

P.S. I think if I ever have a baby, this pretty little outdoor table would be the inspiration for my baby shower.
