I had found myself more often than I would like uninspired and just taking a photo of whatever I saw to make sure I had my photo for the day. When I decided to do this project, I wanted this to be a time where I could be relatively focused on my photography to improve my composition and technical skills. A quick snapshot at 11:35pm is not going to cut it! So I am trying to mix things up a bit and give a little structure through themes.
This week's theme was inspired by the cotton window displays at the Brooks Brother's store by my office. I found the baskets of cotton so pretty and it triggered the idea of doing a theme on store fronts and shop windows. And this theme had me wishing that I had more days, as for the first time I was debating which shots to including for the 365, and that I had more time during the day to head out exploring window displays. But the windows in my neighborhood, by work, and on the path of errands gave me some fun material. Working with the reflections was a bit tricky as sometimes it adds but some shots it was just annoying! I had fun with this theme...
