Save Room for Cake

Dan did a really good job making my birthday special, let's talk about the food... he decided on a French theme and it was the yummiest of birthdays. He made crepes with homemade blueberry sauce for breakfast, got the good French chocolate to make my cake, filling it with Bonn Maman preserves, made coq au vin for dinner while we sipped with a fantastic bottle of red wine from Saint Emilion (one of the places we visited on our trip last year) and listened to the French Cafe station on Pandora, we finished of the day off with a bottle of clique veuve champagne and a slice of that deeelicious cake. I have felt totally spoiled this weekend.
