Reusable Produce Bags

As it is almost Farmers Market season here in the midwest and as I am looking to add a new green living practice into our daily life, I have been very close to ordering these Ecobag reusable produce bags.

The only thing holding me back is I am very confident that they could be a very DIY project...  But they are pretty inexpensive so I am weighing the time for the DIY version versus just ordering them.

I have been wanting to make and/or buy reusable produce bags for a long long time now. At some point, I saved a tutorial of how to make your own. It was super simple. I will dig around and see if I can find it!

Hey - this is a VERY easy DIY project - there is a free tutorial here:http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2009/04/book_giveaway_interview_and_pr.html?CMP=OTC-5JF307375954

even if you don't do the printing on the bags, it will give you a general idea on how to make one

We bought ours (well, my husband works for a small, Chicago-based e-commerce company called reusablebags.com...so we got them there) and use them ALL the time. Making them looks super easy too though. I prefer the net ones and he likes the muslin--really it's a win-win!
