Peonies for a Spring-Like Tuesday

Because spring-like temperatures make me desire to have pretty fluffy flowers everywhere... I will share a peony with you this morning...

This image takes me back to the lazy summers of my youth and picking peonies from my mom's garden to put in mason jars on our kitchen table...  My mom's peonies used to be her grandmother's and I am hoping that if I ever own a house she might let me move them to my own little garden. I love little bits of 'inheritence' that help in turning a house into a home.
