Oh the options... Opinions please!

I have always loved the idea of framing prints from vacations and such that are more landscape oriented.  They are personal without being just another photo of ourselves.  So I have been trying to decide which photos I want to get prints of and need some opinions! I have selected four photographs from four different trips, all are waterviews (I am a water girl).  I would frame them in black frames with white mats.

Photo 1: this was taken just moments before Dan asked me to marry him...

Photo 2: taken on our honeymoon watching the sun come up from our balcony...

Photo 3: our first real vacation together...

Photo 4: the day before my sister's wedding...

So what do you think?  Would these look ok together?  Should I go with only one or two of them instead of four?

WOW - first of all, I haven't popped in for a while and LOVE the site beatification overhaul. Classic, fun and different than anyone else.

Secondly, I was just thinking about the same exact thing this morning. I am going to get some images framed from our Banff trip this summer - still deciding which ones yet.

And finally, on to YOUR question...I think the four of them would be lovely together. They are a) all of bodies of water, b) land is on the left hand side of each photo, and c) they compliment each other very well.

Enjoy your new art work!

Wow!! This is a toughy. All these pictures that you've taken are beautiful. I would go with all 4 of them. They are all uniform in theme, colors, etc. That's what I would do.

I would go with #1 and #2 together. Love them!

I love #1 & #2. The #3 & #4 are good too, but the first two I think I'd not get tired of looking at any time soon....

I love all of them. Do you have room for all four?

I love the first one but what about doing all of them as a grouping?

Thanks, ladies! And you are right- I am debating between just the first two or all of them.

Julia, I do have room for all four... because my walls are quite barren right now!

Aletha, you are making me blush! Thank you so much for your sweet comments!

Aesthetically you should go with either 3 . . . or 5. So I wouldn't go with either 2 or 4, but 3!!

what about a frame that holds all 4 photos? they're all great, though I might employ some editing software to make sure that the horizons are straight.

My fiance and I did something similar for the first real vacation that we took. We chose three of our favorite scenic photos (from San Francisco and wine countyr) and had them framed underneath hand-carved matting that looks like grape vines ~ it came out beautiful!

May I suggest that you frame photos #3, #1 and #2, in that order. This way they would tell a story of you and your husband. The first represents the earlier stages of your relationship, the second is the moment when you decided to spend your lives with each other, and the third represents the beginning of that new life together.

They are all beautiful photos. :)

They are stunning, which did you choose? I have the sunset image from our wedding night hanging up.
