Grow Garlic Grow!

My garlic is growing like weeds!  In just one week it has easily doubled. So maybe this spring planting thing will actually work... it is early to tell of course but I am optimistic.

This week growing is its business.

Gardening is so much fun.  I love watching the progress.

Last Sunday as we were cleaning up in the yard, we started to clear out the herb and flower pots from last fall and I noticed that our parsley was growing back... And this week we have baby parsley plants! 

This upcoming weekend I might plant our spring radish and lettuce along with some pansies.  It is kind of early for Chicago as we still get pretty cold at night.  But I believe we are past the projected last frost date?  I am antsy to get that spring garden going!

I think I'm going to plant our flowers this weekend! That's one of the things I enjoy about Chicago vs. Michigan...it hardly ever frosts in the city!
