Getting Ready: Dress & Accessories
Tara Posted on
Monday, September 22, 2008 at 6:00AM Immediately after hair and makeup, I ran down to my parent's room to get dressed. The whole time just as anxious as can be to get to the "couple photo" time and the ceremony.
I love this photo... my sister helping pack up my clutch {more thoughts on bridal clutches to come} and get my stuff situated and my brother and dad just watching tv around us as though nothing is going on...

My accessories... other than the blue the "something old, borrowed, new" are in this photo...

Getting dressed... me thinking "hurry it up back there!"

And now I am a bride!

Next up is the groom getting ready, the floral personals, and the first meeting...

loooooooove your dress!
Your dress is gorgeous and you look absolutely stunning! You also look extremely calm and relaxed in all of the pictures.. which is a look that I doubt I will be able to pull off!
Thank you!
bona fide preppy- I definitely was not calm or relaxed but rather quite anxious! I think the "calm face" came from wanting to appear calm and the practice of having to keep a calm face when dealing with clients!
:)
So pretty! I love the photo with your dad and brother...too funny!
I love that first photograph with your dad and brother too :)
Love your brooch!
Isn't it just like guys to carry on like normal while the women run around like chickens with their heads cut off?
OMG - gorgeous! Seriously, that dress, your hair, that veil! I LOVE EVERYTHING! What kind of veil did you have? Length-wise...
Thanks, ladies! You are all too sweet.
everyday bride, my veil was chapel length and a mantilla style without lace... but I am pretty short so it looks longer on me.
LOVE IT! It's almost exactly like the one I want, that's probably why I love it so much! Can't wait to see the rest of your day!!!
I love your dress. do you mind telling me who designed it?
Thank you! The dress is a Justina McCaffrey, the style is Resplendant in ivory.
