Friends + Makeup + Cocktails = Fab Event

I am not ashamed to admit that I really love makeup.  If you were to see me on a daily basis you might not read this about me as I am pretty low-key in my daily routine {totally not kidding- my morning makeup routine is maybe 3 minutes long} but I really love to have a professional do my makeup.  Add cocktails and a couple fabulous blogger friends {the always lovely Colleen & Tina} and it is sure to be a fantastic evening!

Recently I received an invite to a Wedding Makeup Event that was organized and hosted by the lovely ladies of OneWed and held at Blue Mercury.  While they often host events for brides to have a chance to get tips from pro makeup artists, this event was also for those of who love makeup but appreciate any pointers we can get for special occasions- and wedding season is upon us!

It was such a great time.  Chicago brides, definitely keep your eyes open for these events by OneWed as even if you have a makeup artist for the big day the tips are so valuable for all those other events during your engagement!

True nothing is free, of course there is no such thing as a true democratic country, just like there was no true communist state as well. There is one rule of government that does work and is true to it's discription, one word Dictatorship, never said it was pretty just that history has proven that it works.

At my wedding we also enjoyed cocktails when we were getting ready. You have to be careful.
