Chicago Pix Exhibit

One of my photographs is on display!  Woot!

Way back in April I submitted a few photos for a special exhibit at the Chicago Mayor's Office that is curated by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.  When I received the email saying one was accepted I was walking home from the train and was so excited that I busted out into a grin for the rest of my walk...  I am sure I looked like a nut.

The exhibit has been up since May but I just finally made it to City Hall to see it.  It is pretty fun to see your name in a display, regardless of how big or small.

Why yes, I did take a photo of myself standing by my photo and I am so not ashamed to admit that...

The photo selected is one I took last labor day weekend when we stopped at Navy Pier on a whim on the way back into the city after a day trip...
