Bridal Style: Purple Shoes

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 7:17AM Recently I received an email from a bride-to-be that is searching for purple shoes to peak out from her wedding gown asking if I had noticed any cute purple shoes out there. I love to help and do research so was more than thrilled to have a mission. I have rounded up a variety of purple hued shoes that I think have "bridal style" potential {but they may work for bridesmaid shoes too}. They tend to be between 3"-4" heels as I have found a complete gap in women's "special event" shoes is a variety of colors {such as purple} in a kitten heel.
There is quite a variety of styles to be found at ShopStyle {click the image for the stores}:
And a quick review of my favorite stores revealed a few more options:

{Clockwise: Lori's Shoes, Nordstrom, Footwear Studio, JCrew, Piperlime, Nordstrom}
There is also the option of dyables. MyGlassSlipper has the option to search by heel height which is very helpful when looking for a lower heel.
Have any of you seen a pretty, purple shoe fit for a bride? Bride-to-be Lindsay is looking for a low to mid heel so if you have seen anything that might fit add your suggestions as a comment to help her in this quest!

Fantastic round up! I'd love to see one for my wedding color: green! My shoes were my very first purchase for the wedding, but they're hot (as in temperature hot!) and I'd love to see alternatives if they're out there! (But only if you wanted another mission.)
I found a bunch at Shoebuy the other day for another purple themed bride. Lori's Shoes also has a couple.
yes green shoes!! I can't find anything!
I love the ones from J.Crew :)
yes - now can you help us with green? I need a fun chartruse pair!! :)
I'd love to see yellow!!! I've been searching all over and only found a few pairs.
Absolutely! Up next- green and then shortly followed by yellow...
Love the La Silla top magenta heels with the bows. Gorgeous! I am not generally a fan of purple but you may have me changing my tune :)
since i know the pain of searching high and low for acceptable pink bridal flats, this post stuck in my mind, so when i came across these shoes, i thought i'd share! http://www.seychellesfootwear.com/ the "al dente" flat is reminiscent of the twist peep-toe that's so cute. this might be too much on the pinky-purple side for lindsey, but you never know!
