all things bright & cheery...

Every single year right about now I start falling in love with all things bright and cheery.  Yellow touches for the home can help brighten things up and bring in a little touch of sunshine as thoughts start to wander towards spring.  That and it is hard not to be happy when in a space with bits of yellow.  Seriously, the cheer is infectious.

You could go for a bold swipe of color...

I love the happy and vibrant tone that yellow adds to a space.  It is just what is needed for the final stretch of winter as we get ready for spring, right!?  What is your favorite way to bring in fresh and bright colors to get ready for spring?  Or do you have a bold, statement use of bright colors in your home decor all year round?

As a side note, as soon as I can squeeze in a few more blogging minutes I am going to share what we made for our valentine's dinner - it was soooooooo good!  And the menu ended up being totally different from what I was thinking last week.
