A Stolen Moment During the Reception
Tara Posted on
Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 6:00AM During our cocktail hour we spent the first 30 minutes or so greeting guests and having a drink. Then we headed down the street with our photographer to take a few moments and just to soak in the we-just-did-it feelings. Some of these photos ended up being my favorites. We were so relaxed and just so happy. No more worrying about if my veil was going to catch on something and get ripped out (it almost did!) or about how dirty my dress was getting... and it did get filthy. We just whispered with each other and enjoyed the moment...

Dan really is whispering in my ear here... it is such an intimate moment... in an empty parking garage!

And then it was back to the reception!

And time for me to change into my JCrew reception dress... which I was glad I had as it was nice to change into something flowy and light after being in the gown for hours in the summer heat.

Stunning photos - you both look so happy! makes me think that a private moment after the ceremony is a Very good idea!
I really like the last picture where he's helping you with your train.
It's just so sweet. Maybe they should change the tradition so instead of the MOH doing it the groom does.
These are great photographs! Who would of thought a parking garage could be so pretty :)
Lovely shots! You looked gorgeous! I especially loved the one where he is whispering in your ear.
