A Rustic Touch

A few rustic touches seem to help create an intimate atmosphere.  I always waver between loving a bit of rustic and a bit of more contemporary styling.  So when I got an email for Wispering Pines, an ecommerce site, that says to be "for the cabin" I had to check it out.  They have some cute stuff!

Wouldn't one of these hearts look pretty hanging in a kitchen window by a bit of twine?  Or maybe a collection of them would make for pretty decor at a wedding or party...

And this candle holder that does double duty as a vase is very pretty... it would fit in on the kitchen table during the week with flowers from the garden... or maybe a few hanging from a tree for an outdoor party or wedding...

And these rustic lanterns have the perfect amount of 'distressing' to add nice lived in touch...

So it looks to be a cute site for either a few pieces for the home or garden or for an upcoming wedding or party decor.  And I will keep dreaming of that cottage I am longing to own...
