In This Instance started as a creative outlet while I was planning my wedding. I quickly became hooked on blogging and the creative, friendly community that I found. In This Instance covers a variety of topics that I enjoy exploring and sharing the inspiration that I find for pretty details in everyday life.

I am a wife, a newlywed, a dog owner, a project manager, a sister, a crafter, and a life-long student.  I love a challenge, a good book or magazine, a glass of wine, summer, exploring new places, trying new foods, being outdoors, mucking around on the internet, and finding simple ways to add something pretty to the day.
